ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The traditional and religious Phchum Ben (Remembrance) Ceremony was celebrated on Saturday 15th September 2001, at the AMARAVATI Buddhist Monastery, Great Gaddesden, Hemel Hempstead, Herts.

Ajahn Sumedho, the Head Monk of Amaravati Temple, gave a brief Dhamma Talk (sermon). He praised the Cambodian Buddhists in the United Kingdom for their efforts to preserve their tradition and Buddhism, by actively supporting the Amaravati and Chithurst monasteries, and organising the Cambodian traditional festivities. He joined in to bless also the souls of the people who died at the 11th September 2001, in the United States of America.

Following the Ceremony, CASUNIK hold their Annual General Meeting to approve the Treasurer’s Report and elect the new Executive Committee Members, whose name are as shown in the above letterhead.
